Diogenes’ Lantern is a blog about politics and society.

I am a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison,  where I studied Journalism and Mass Communication and Economics.

I have lived in the midwest US my whole life, growing up in the Chicagoland area. After graduating from university, I lived in France for a year, working as an English assistant at a high school outside of Paris and at an arts/culture magazine in Paris.

I am a Greek-American by birth and upbringing, but aspire to be like Diogenes, a “citizen of the world.”
